Huhu! Ja, ich weiß, einige werden jetzt denken: "Jetzt auch noch 2 Posts an einem Tag, sie dreht völlig durch!"
Hätte ich auch normalerweise nicht gemacht, aber ich habe heute morgen dieses tolle kleine Tutorial auf dem Simply Sassy DT Blog entdeckt und wollte es sofort ausprobieren. Was natürlich immer noch kein Grund für 2 Posts an einem Tag ist, aber in knapp 2 Stunden endet die Tutorial challenge auf dem Simply Sassy DT Blog und da ich jetzt endlich dazu gekommen bin, eines der tollen Tutorials zu nutzen, möchte ich es natürlich auch einreichen ;o)

Hi there! Yes, I know what some of you ar thinking now: "So now it's escalated 2 posts at one day, now she's completely gone!"
Usually I wouldn't have done it and kept the card for another day, but I discovered this fab tutorial at the Simply Sassy DT Blog this morning and I just had to try it right away. And since the tutorial challenge on the very same blog is ending in a couple of hours, I'd of course need to post my card now, if I want to submit it ;o)

Ich entschuldige mich schon einmal für die wirklich nicht besonders guten Bilder, aber hier gießt es aus Eimern und ist dunkel als wäre es schon halb zehn Uhr abends, ich mußte also blitzen und was Besseres als das kommt dann einfach nicht dabei heraus. Bis ich also bessere Biler machen kann, müßt ihr mir einfach glauben, daß die Farben in Wahrheit viel weniger verwaschen und die Schattierungen in meiner Koloration viel besser und tiefer sind als was ihr gerade seht.

I appologize for the pictures though, it's raining cats and dogs over here and it as dark as if it was half past nine in the evening already, so I had to use my flash to take these pictures and that's the best I could do this way. You just have to believe me that the colors are richer and the shading on my image deeper than what you see right now until I'll be able to take better pictures.

Ich habe natürlich auch diesmal wieder einen Stempel genommen, den ich noch nicht benutzt hatte. Hippie Chick ist zwar schon etwas älter, war aber erst bei meiner letzten Bestellung mit in den Warenkorb gehüpft. Ist sie nicht total niedlich? Ein tolles Motiv. Aber das hab ich bisher von allen Simply Sassy Motiven behauptet oder? *g*
Die Designpapiere sind - wie überraschend - mal wieder Stampin' Up, diesmal aber nicht nur aus dem Papierblock, sondern ich hab auch ein älteres Papier mal wieder hervorgegraben. Was hier fast weiß und uni aussieht, ist eigentlich ein Papier aus dem "Tea Party" Sortiment und müßte vom Farbton her "Almost Amethyst" sein. Na ja, sowohl das Papier als auch die Farbe sind ja leider Discon, aber trotzdem unheimlich schön.

Of course I used one of my as of yet unused stamps for this. Hippie Chick is somewhat older already (might even have been kit 1, can't remember right now), but I only ordered her with my last order, which arrived last Saturday, so for me she is brand new and I just adore her. But I've said that about every Simply Sassy stamp so far, haven't I? LOL
The designer paper - no surprise - is Stampin' Up once again, but this time I didn't just use my dearly loved paper stacks, but got out some older papers. What looks like nearly white and unpatterned paper is actually from the "Tea Party" stack and should be the same color as "Almost Amethyst". Oh well, both paper and ink are retired now, what a shame, but they are still so lovely.

Den kleinen Tag habe ich nur mit einem Gruß und etwas Button Twine versehen, so kann man ihn auch perfekt als Lesezeichen nutzen, da ist wirklich mal nichts drauf, was irgendwie störend sein könnte.

The only decoration for the tag is the greeting and a bit of button twine, which makes it a very simple bookmark as well without any embellishments, which could get in the way or leave impressions in the book pages.
