Hi everyone, it's another cold and rainy day, with absolute crappy light for taking pictures :o(. But I wanted to show a framed picture I have made and which has been waiting to be photographed for days now... Natural light just wouldn't come, so I used my daylight lamp. The finished pictures weren't anything to write home about, but that's what I've got and nothing more.
Diesen Rahmen für 30x30cm Bilder hab ich schon im April gekauft und wollte eigentlich etwas für meine Mutter zum Geburtstag damit machen. Meine Ideen verließen mich allerdings, nachdem ich den Bogen Cardstock in Fawn mit dem Vogelkäfig betupft hatte und er stand hier rum bis letzte Woche. Dann hat mich ein Posting im Stempel-Café an einen Schmetterlingsrahmen erinnert, den ich auf irgendeinem Blog einer Stampin' Up Demo mal gesehen hatte und ich war sofort überzeugt, daß Schmetterlinge genau das waren, was dem Bild noch gefehlt hat *lach*.Da ich im Moment eine große Vorliebe für den Pergamentkarton von Stampin' Up habe und ihn wunderschön finde, wenn man mit weißem Embossingpulver darauf arbeitet, hab ich genau das bei den großen Schmetterlingen gemacht. Zum Einsatz kamen hier ein Schriftenstempel und ein Schnörkelstempel von LaBlanche, die ich leider viel zu sehr vernachlässige. Und noch ein Stempel aus dem Sale-a-Bration Set "Glück" von Stampin' Up
I bought this frame fro 12x12 paper back in April and actually wanted to make a present for my mum's birthday using it, but I got stuck after sponging the birdcage onto the sheet of fawn cardstock and putting that in the frame. Which is why it was standing around just like this until last week and a posting at the Stempel-Café reminded me of a butterfly frame I once saw on some Stampin' Up demo blog. I was dead sure that butterflies were exactly THE thing for my frame as well LOL.
I have a big fondness for the Stampin' Up vellum right now and I just love to emboss it with white embossing powder, so that is exactly what I did to the bigger once. I used two different LaBlanche stamps, one with script and one of her gorgeous swirls. I have so many of her brillant stamps, but neglect them most of the time. :o( Further I used a stamp from Stampin' Up's Sale-a-Bration set "Bliss".

Other: Silver wire, white embossing powder, Stickles "Diamond", wood stain for the frame and of course the frame itself
