Hanna and Friend #95 - Lace & Pearls

Aaah, endlich Donnerstag und endlich wieder eine neue Challenge bei Hanna and Friends! Hab ihr es auch so vermißt? Mir hat letzte Woche richtig was gefehlt, aber die Verlängerung von Challenge #94 nach dem großen Bloggerausfall war eine gute Sache, denke ich. Meinen heutigen Post möchte ich mit einem Vorher-Bild beginnen, das wirklich so schrecklich häßlilch ist, daß ich euch vorwarnen muß. Angucken auf eigene Gefahr *lach*.

Aaah, finally Thursday and this week we have a new Challenge for you at Hanna and Friends! Did you miss uns as much as I did last week? There really was a hole in my weekly routine, but I still think it was a good thing to keep challenge #94 going for another week after the big blogger bloop. I would like to open my post for this week with a before-picture, which is frankly the most uglies thing you've ver seen, so be warned! You are looking at it at your own risk LOL.
Ich habe leider von meiner eigenen Schachtel kein Vorher-Bild gemacht, dann hätte man noch wunderbar gesehen, daß meine Katze sie zu ihrer eigenen Häßlichkeit dazu auch noch als Kratzbox mißbraucht hat. Das hier war mal eines der fertigen Geschenke von Lush Cosmetics und lange Zeit stand diese Box gefüllt mit irgendwelchem Dekoplunder in einer Ecke bei mir, bis ich sie vor knapp fünf Monaten nicht mehr sehen konnte und auseinander nahm. Da die Box an sich aber eine super praktische Größe hat, habe ich vor einigen Wochen beschlossen, daß ich sie einfach pimpe und das ist nun dabei heraus gekommen.

I regret that I didn't take a picture of my particular box, because it would have shown that in addition to its very own uglyness my cat also decided it needed a makeover and did quite a number on it, while using it as a scratching block. This box once was one of the ready packed presents from Lush Cosmetics and I've had it for quite a few years now. It's been lurking in some corner, filled up with some junk nobody ever needed until I was fed up with it and dissembled it a few months ago. But since this box truly does have a very usefull size, I finally decided to just pimp it to my liking a couple of weeks ago. And this is what came out of.

Das braune Packpapier und das Knopfgarn sind ja momentan aus meinen Bastelarbeiten gar nicht wegzudenken und kombiniert mit meiner Lieblingsfarbe Lila, habe ich seit kurzem eine neue Lieblingsbox in meinem Bastelzimmer, in der mein Kartenstash nun selig schlummert.

The brown packing paper and the button twine are currently quite the institution in my craft room and combined with my all time favorite color purple, I managed to turn this box into my new favorite item in my craft room, which houses my card stasth (yes, it's really that small still).
