3D-Easel-Punched-Screen-Card

Heute gibt es mal ein bißchen "Frankensteining" von mir *lach*. Ich hab eine megalange Liste mit Dingen, die ich noch nicht gemacht habe, aber unbedingt noch ausprobieren muß. 2 Punkte auf dieser Liste waren die beiden Tutorials für die Punched Screen Card und die 3D Easel Card vom Whiff of Joy Tutorials & Inspiration Blog.
Ursprünglich sollte diese Karte "nur" eine 3D Easelkarte werden, aber nachdem ich mir eigentlich ziemlich schnell sicher war, daß diese Szene mit meinem gewählten Motiv nicht wirklich zusammen paßt, kam ich relativ schnell auf die Idee, den 3D Effekt mit dem Punched Screen zu verinden und das ist nun das Ergebnis. Ich bin ehrlich gesagt ziemlich zufrieden damit, wenn ich das mal so unbescheiden sagen darf. Bis auf einen einzigen winzekleinen Klebepatzer hat das alles wunderbar und reibungslos geklappt.

Today I've got a bit of "Frankensteining" for you ;o). As I already mentioned several times and again I have this huuuuuge list of things, which I haven't managed to do yet, but want to try one day. 2 of these things on the list have been the Punched Screen Card and the 3D Easel Card from the Whiff of Joy Tutorials & Inspiration Blog.
Originally I intended to "just" make the 3D Easel Card, but I soon came to the conclusion that this type of scene wouldn't work for the image I had chosen to work with and therefore had the idea to combine the 3D build of the card with the Punched Screen Card and this is what it turned out in the end. Frankly, I am very content with this card. Notwithstanding one tiny little gluing accident with the sticky tape, everything went like a dream with this one.

The Pink Elephant - Favorite Color Combo, Polka Dots & Crinkle Ribbon - Okay, this need a bit explanation. The pink paper has a polka dot pattern. Yes, really, just look at the full sitze pictures ;o). The stampin Up paper is sometimes a little too much toned down with this. My ribbon is seam binding ribbon, which I sprayed with water, crinkled it all up and used around the sentiment. The crinkling is very hard to see though. I'm sorry :o(
