Good morning! I don't know what's up at the moment, but I am really not motivated or creative an the moment. Thank god I have my DT duties or otherwise I wouldn't be crafting anything at all and getting comfortable with it *sigh*. I hope it'll just be a short "down" and be over soon.
This week we would like to see bookmarks at Stamp with fun and this is what I did with this challenge.
I kept it quite simple and didn't use many embellishments, because I didn't want it to leave impressions in the books. The original stamp (which is actually called "Christmas Kisses" as well, which I didn't notice until after I glued the letters on) has a little mistletoe over this cutie's head, but of course I had to cut this off when cutting out the image and used my Magnolia die for the first time ever.
Because the question came up: Whenever I make this type of bookmark I always use the Tim Holtz die for the base and for the layer of patterned paper as well. I cut off about 2mm all around the patterned paper pad so the cardstock works as a normal matting like on a card.
