Last week was Nicole's birthday and she wanted to have a birthday planer like the one I made last spring to get some kind of order into all the birthdays throughout the year to forget less of them (THAT didn't really work out so far though LOL). Therefore now I proudly present the revised and much better version 2.0 of said planer. My own was a book, but this one I made as a ring file with a real filling mechanism for a loose-leaf folder. That way she can switch out used up pages and just needs a standard office supply hole-punch. The next change is the index for the calendar (which I don't have a picture of), using the Stampin' Up tab punch and the last change I made was the paper for the pages itself. For mine I used heavy index cards, for this planer I used standard printer paper in A5 size, which enables you to put in way more pages.
The cover. I put the filling mechanism on the spine of the folder and therfore cut the back and front cover a few cm larger than A5. This way I also could use a bigger font and a bigger image, everything has its advantages.
The calendar inlay. After I was done with it I wasn't so sure anymore if she would like it, because it was suddenly much more ornage and green than I first though and Nicole prefers subtle colors (it's much more bright than the picture), but she did like it and I was sooo relieved LOL
The presents inlay, which in my head had much more pink than it finally turned out with, but that's the story of this planer, everything turned out different than I planned.
The parties inlay. I worked for ages on this thing, because I could never shake the feeling that something was missing. We came to a consensus in the end though *g*.

Meins, meins, alles meins!!!
*ggg*
LG
Nicole
