And now it's a set

I made a matching coin bank to the card I showed... a week ago? Probably longer *lol*. I intended to give it away as a present at a gathering this last weekend, but I got sick and couldn't go.
Last year I tried a recipe for Halloween jam (pumpkin and orange and lots of spices *g*) and I made waaay to much, so I wanted to give away one of the jars and decorated it with the little Halloween Tilda.

I'll have to see what I'll do with this package now. ;o)

Pink / brown a little different

Finally a new card to show you. I started on it last weekend, but I never really came around to finish it. My muse again *sigh*. I could say it wouldn't have made a difference if I finished it befor yesterday evening, because the weather here was so bad and dark I couldn't have taken pictures anyway, but that would just be a stupid excuse *lol*.

Enough babbling. Here you go.

One thing I don't like about the Magnolia papers (and I LOVE them) is that that white frame they always have around it.
Or better: I like that frame, but if I cut the 12x12 sheet up, it doesn't go around anymore and that looks just strange. I remembered I had the white Brilliance dew drop which has a very high coverage. You can reallly stamp perfectly wite on dark cardstock with that one. I used that to dab it around the cut edges. I think now it's just perfect.

One for the girls in blue

I can't believe how much crafting I manage to do at the moment. The year started out so bad and unproductive / uncreative for me and kept on going that way for months, but I think it's really getting better now.
Here is another card I finished yesterday night. The pictures are slightly better, but still the daylight is not the best and the non-flash pictures are crappy most of the time. I think I chose the best I could manage out of the X pictures I took.
I glimmered and shimmered to my heart's content on this card *gg*

I'll take part in 2 challenges with this card:

- Wild Orchid Craft Challenge "One for the Girls"
- Simon Says Stamp Challenge "Summertime Blues"

Bollywood, here I come...

I know, I promised it for yesterday *sigh*. The last few days have been very stressful and I kept missing the good light to take pictures again and again and acutally again today, but I thought what the hell, therefore here the crappy result *lol*

I finished this card on Sunday and it will be for one of my best friends. Her birthday was actually already in June, but I think she is used to my delays by now *ggg*.
I'll give her a pair of these sparkly sequin shoes the girls in the bollywood films wear, since she is a big fan of these films (I only feel pain whenever I have to watch one *rofl*) and this Tilda was soooo begging to be on her birthday card. For that reason only I kept waiting and delaying the present even more to be true.

I hope you like what you see and maybe leave a comment? *puppy dog eyes*

I'm off to bed now. This week has been so crazy and exhausting so far.

Christmas in August - Part II

Here is the rest of the stuff I made for my friend. Some of the colors are pretty loud, I know, but she likes it that way *gg*

Tomorrow I'll be back with a card.

Christmas in August?

Something like this, yes ;o)

In 2008 I made an advent calendar for a friend who really had had the worst year ever. I decorated 20 10cm acrylic bulbs in her favourite colors - pink and purple and put little stuff in there as well, but the balls/bulbs where supposed to be used as christmas tree ornaments as well.
This year she asked me if I could made some more, but smaller ones this time. So I bought 15 6cm balls and started decorating again. I also made some tealight glasses for her and I was nearly done and also in time for her birthday, when my back pains started.
So now I am horribly late, but I finally have this card finished and can send her her present now. Woohoo... sometimes I hate my life, I tell you.
